Lead Software Engineer – Full Stack, Shopping

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee a diverse array of technology projects along with a team of developers

• Demonstrate enthusiasm for keeping up with the latest technology trends

• Collaborate effectively with digital product managers

• Employ programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go

• Work with Open Source RDBMS as well as NoSQL databases

• Manage Container Orchestration services, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Utilize a wide range of AWS tools and services

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience is not considered)

• At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

• Master’s Degree (preferred)

• Over 7 years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Node.js, or Go (preferred)

• 3 or more years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)

• 4 or more years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)

• A minimum of 1 year of people management experience (preferred)

• 2 or more years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)

• Experience with payment processing data or financial data analysis (preferred)
