Lead Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical lead for one or several delivery teams, taking ownership of solution design and technical direction.

• Develop, construct, and enhance cloud-native applications utilizing .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET 6+/Core).

• Establish and enforce architectural guidelines, coding standards, and best practices.

• Facilitate design reviews, code evaluations, and technical decision-making processes.

• Design and implement Azure-based solutions (App Services, Functions, AKS, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, SQL).

• Take responsibility for the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps; advocate for DevOps and automation best practices.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions and delivery strategies.

• Ensure that non-functional requirements are satisfied (performance, reliability, security, observability, scalability).

• Lead technical troubleshooting of intricate production issues and conduct root cause analysis.

• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, elevating the technical standards across the team.

• Propel initiatives for managing technical debt and modernization efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience with significant expertise in .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET).

• Demonstrated experience in designing and leading the delivery of cloud-native systems on Microsoft Azure.

• Strong practical experience with Azure DevOps (repositories, pipelines, environments, release strategies).

• Experience in leading technical design and serving as the primary technical owner for services or platforms.

• Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful API design.

• Solid experience in data persistence (Azure SQL/SQL Server, NoSQL where applicable).

• Profound understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices (Clean Architecture, SOLID, automated testing, CI/CD).

• Experience in Agile/Kanban delivery models.
