Lead Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services utilizing **Python**.

• Create and enhance RESTful APIs leveraging the **FastAPI framework**.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions.

• Develop and oversee database schemas, queries, and integrations using **MongoDB**.

• Implement secure, reliable, and efficient microservices architectures.

• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on **AWS services** such as EC2, S3, and ElastiCache.

• Enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in accordance with best practices.

• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.

• Establish CI/CD pipelines and manage version control with **Git**.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in **Python backend development**.

• Extensive experience with **FastAPI** or similar frameworks (Flask/Django).

• Strong grasp of **REST API design principles** and best practices.

• Experience with **MongoDB** or other NoSQL databases.

• Good foundational knowledge of **data structures and algorithms**.

• Familiarity with **Docker** and the development of containerized applications.

• Proficient with **Git** and version control processes.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Capability to comprehend business requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
