Lead Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Serve as a proactive technical leader, actively engaging in both design and implementation while promoting innovative and collaborative engineering methodologies.

• Work closely with geometry and domain specialists to comprehend their requirements and convert them into effective software solutions.

• Analyze geometrical challenges and pinpoint the most appropriate computer science principles and algorithms for their resolution.

• Develop efficient, scalable code while considering performance and resource utilization.

• Make informed engineering choices regarding data access patterns, processing efficiency, and system architecture to ensure solutions remain effective and cost-efficient under real-world workloads.

• Engage in our agile development practices, including sprint planning sessions, demonstrations, code evaluations, and quality assurance tasks.

• Design, create, and sustain C# libraries for computational design applications.


⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C# with experience across the contemporary .NET ecosystem.

• Demonstrated ability to architect and develop reusable libraries with an emphasis on computational design applications.

• Exceptional skill in understanding intricate geometrical problems and translating them into suitable computer science concepts (such as data structures, algorithms, and design patterns).

• Experience collaborating with domain experts (specifically geometry specialists) to design and implement impactful software solutions.

• Background in designing and applying composable system design principles in complex, resource-constrained environments, including cloud platforms, game development, and other distributed, real-time, or performance-sensitive systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges.

• Proficiency with the latest software development tools and workflows.

• Awareness of and openness to AI agentic development methodologies, with a keen interest in leveraging them to improve system design and automation where applicable.

• Highly adaptable and eager to enhance your skills in a collaborative and engaging setting.
