Lead Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs utilizing .NET Core and C#.

• Create responsive and modular migration features leveraging oDATA API.

• Take ownership of the entire delivery process: requirements analysis, development, code reviews, unit testing, deployment, and production support.

• Design and enhance database models, queries, indexes, and stored procedures to guarantee performance and reliability.

• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS, implementing best practices for scalability, cost efficiency, and security.

• Establish CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and automate deployments in partnership with the DevOps team.

• Diagnose production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and spearhead preventive enhancements.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards, reusable components, and architectural decisions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Over 8 years of professional software development experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience with .NET Core (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Microservices preferred).

• Strong practical experience in building backend applications using APIs like oDATA API.

• Comprehensive understanding of databases and data modeling (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or equivalent).

• Practical experience with AWS (e.g., compute, storage, networking, monitoring; relevant services to the team).

• In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, authentication/authorization, and secure coding practices.

• Experience with version control (Git) and agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
