Lead SGRE Certified MCE Wind Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a leading team member to assist and supervise on-site field operations with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency.

• Manage lifting operations by verifying skills for large components and demonstrating the ability to create, review, amend, and correct lifting plans.

• Execute safe and efficient repairs on all Wind Turbine electrical systems.

• Carry out Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures for equipment as an Authorized Person.

• Conduct pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Risk Assessments (RAs), and daily safety discussions.

• Engage with vendors and customers in a professional manner.

• Accurately document all work using various electronic formats and provide constructive feedback to the Safety and Quality department for business enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of direct experience with Siemens Gamesa Platforms is required.

• Specific turbine-related experience is essential.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics from various Wind Turbine manufacturers is necessary.

• Experience in Main Component Exchange (MCE) is required, along with additional knowledge of lifting operations.

• SGRE Green Profile certification is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge and skills related to generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment are needed.

• Ability to identify potential issues and significant faults is required.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is essential for safely performing job duties, interpreting technical instructions, and communicating effectively with team members and customers.
