This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Oversee daily operations of the DART shift to guarantee effective functioning and sufficient staffing.
• Serve as an escalation point for urgent security alerts and investigations.
• Perform quality assurance reviews on tickets to verify accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with IR protocols.
• Manage shift transitions, ensuring seamless communication and continuity across different regions.
• Monitor, analyze, and prioritize security alerts utilizing SIEM, EDR, and NDR systems.
• Conduct comprehensive investigations into potential threats, using TTP-based analysis and utilizing internal resources.
• Collaborate with business units and technical teams during incident response to collect context and implement containment or remediation measures.
• Provide detailed documentation and recommendations following incidents.
• Mentor junior and mid-level analysts throughout investigations and incident response processes.
• Assist in onboarding and ongoing training through documentation, coaching, and practical guidance.
• Identify gaps in tools or workflows; offer suggestions for enhancements to the DART Manager.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity analyst role, including at least 2 years in a leadership or senior position.
• Proven practical experience with SIEM, EDR, NDR, and DFIR tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of attacker TTPs (MITRE ATT&CK) and a strong investigative approach.
• Experience handling incidents in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, particularly in cross-functional and high-stress situations.
