Cyber Operations Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop a prototype of the COMS NR/NS environment within the NATO Software Factory.

• Replicate the existing functionalities of COMS NR and COMS NS, which encompass Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Confluence, installed plugins, Jira processes, low-side/high-side workflow tracking, hand-over/take-over mechanisms, dynamic wiki page publication, and dynamic page templates.

• Identify and document both functional and non-functional requirements of COMS in accordance with NATO AQAP standards.

• Compile the necessary data for migrating to a new capability.

• Arrange requirements into coherent groups to facilitate the creation of a demonstration video.

• Capture requirements within the COMS Confluence environment and produce the final requirements document in Word format.

• Create a recorded video that introduces COMS and showcases the captured requirements.

• Securely host the video, provide a copy to NCIA, and ensure its availability until two months after the contract concludes.

• Conduct a live online demonstration of the COMS mock-up environment during an NCIA industry engagement day.

• Ensure the demonstration environment is accessible and fully functional, with an alternative date available upon agreement.

• Engage in questions and answers during or following the demonstration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge (5+ years) of Atlassian JIRA Datacenter administration.

• Extensive knowledge (5+ years) of Atlassian Confluence Datacenter administration.

• Previous experience working within the NCIA COMS Environment.

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation and customization tasks.

• Proficient in deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure.

• Proficient in Java, Groovy, and Scriptrunner.

• Strong background in dynamic content management and integration between Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.

• Strong experience in managing metadata in Atlassian Confluence, Office and PDF documents, and Microsoft SharePoint.

• Solid understanding of the internal operations of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence instances, including database-level insights.

• Experience in managing Linux servers, preferably RedHat.

• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
