This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversee the delivery of SecOps projects by defining, maintaining, and conveying systems requirements, solution strategies, and design standards, along with standardized methodologies.
• Design and architect SecOps ingestion and integration frameworks.
• Develop requirements, pinpoint gaps, and convert business needs into technical solutions.
• Discover opportunities for efficiencies and automation.
• Monitor progress and provide suitable reporting.
• Serve as an escalation point for both customers and internal teams.
• Engage in the identification and analysis of use case implementations.
• Assist and lead cybersecurity initiatives as necessary.
• Process tickets and address platform issues for designated customers.
• Collaborate closely with clients and managed services to implement, manage, and enhance Google SecOps environments.
• Participate in projects to ensure effective execution and alignment with business processes, system architecture, and data management strategies.
• Work with end-users and management to improve business processes and workflows related to Google SecOps.
• Maintain designated business documentation.
• Keep abreast of the latest security threats.
• Extensive experience in relevant IT security domains.
• Strong background in IT and IT Security.
• Experience in deploying and managing Google SecOps environments.
• Solid foundational knowledge of networking principles, security best practices, and systems administration.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in security.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience writing YARA-L rules or similar types of queries.
• Outstanding problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong critical thinking and technical diagnostic skills.
• Ability to collaborate in project teams while completing individual tasks promptly.
• Experience in coordinating events and meetings.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Proven experience in Information Security domains, including an understanding of information security programs, organizational requirements, deliverables, processes, tools, and mindset.
• Courteous and professional demeanor.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Personal accountability.
• Travel may be required.
