This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Report directly to the OSR Segment Leader.
• Provide resources for all On-Site Repair requirements.
• Manage the OSR Hourly union workforce directly.
• Oversee, monitor, and report weekly OSR expenses, employee hours worked, and overtime.
• Hold both yourself and your assigned team accountable while upholding GE Beliefs and Values.
• Ensure adherence to GE EH&S, Code-of-Conduct, Travel and Living, and other relevant policies.
• Implement progressive disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of outage executions through coordination and communication among business functions.
• Act as the primary liaison with management and HR concerning Union issues.
• Provide daily leadership and support to the OSR Union workforce in areas such as Safety, Quality, Travel, and Development.
• Coordinate and schedule OSR Hourly resources across various job sites to meet customer needs.
• Promote a culture of open reporting.
• Identify necessary resources and skill sets.
• Collaborate with Union Officials to ensure compliance with the collective agreement.
• Coach and develop employees, including individual training plans and post-project skills evaluations.
• Maintain the employee skills matrix.
• Support broader OSS goals and objectives in asset utilization and process enhancement.
• Collaborate with Specialty Support Group and/or Event Management to ensure skilled resource allocation and optimal crew strength.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field OR High School diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Steam Turbine/Generator On-Site or Shop Repairs environment.
• A minimum of 4 years of prior experience in leading or directing remote teams.
• Strong inclusive leadership and communication skills.
• Availability to work odd hours and/or weekends as required.
• Project management experience or qualifications.
• Familiarity with immigration processes.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening (if applicable).
