This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee strategic relationships with Residential Solar sales and installation partners to ensure operational and financial success.
• Facilitate onboarding for new partners through training on operations, products, and new market strategies.
• Provide guidance to partners and internal teams regarding installation quality standards, program requirements, and necessary corrective actions.
• Recognize, investigate, and resolve issues faced by partners.
• Generate reports and dashboards that track cancellation rates, milestone durations, project quality, operational efficiency, and various performance metrics.
• Supervise solar project assessments for underwriting, installation quality, and compliance with commissioning standards.
• Address and resolve complicated or non-standard project situations.
• Detect recurring quality problems and trends, addressing root causes in collaboration with partners.
• Create and uphold QA standards, checklists, and evaluation criteria.
• Lead the Solar QA and Operations team, managing daily operations, training, and professional development.
• Support the team with operational tasks.
• Foster the development of team members and assist in their career advancement.
• Proficient understanding of Residential Solar PV systems and installation methods; knowledge of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) is preferred.
• Comprehensive grasp of the solar interconnection process.
• Capability to review and analyze project documentation, project plan sets, shade reports, and installation images.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong focus on results, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Outstanding organizational and document management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and master new technologies.
• Competence in managing numerous sales and installation partnerships, multiple projects, and competing priorities in a fast-paced industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Residential Solar installation, operations, QA/QC, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading a team and managing external partners.
• Familiarity with Aurora Solar or EagleView is preferred.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis.
