Lead QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive Quality Assurance processes throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Design, create, and implement manual, automated, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing scenarios

• Develop, enhance, and sustain automation frameworks utilizing Python-based testing tools

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to elevate software quality and enhance release reliability

• Utilize AI-driven testing tools to boost automation efficiency, increase test coverage, and enhance productivity

• Formulate detailed test strategies, test plans, quality metrics, and related documentation

• Conduct SQL database validations and verify data within Elasticsearch

• Lead defect triage meetings, carry out root cause analyses, and engage in release quality assessments

• Oversee test execution, identify quality risks, and propose mitigation strategies

• Share QA case studies, spearhead process enhancements, and advocate for QA best practices across teams

• Mentor QA engineers and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement in quality

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline

• Over 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance within SaaS or product-oriented settings

• Profound knowledge in both manual and automated testing

• Practical experience with AI-based testing tools such as Testim, Mabl, Functionize, ACCELQ, TestRigor, Applitools, Tosca AI, or GitHub Copilot

• Expertise in Selenium, PyTest, Postman, SQL, and Elasticsearch

• Solid understanding of Python and Vue.js from a QA and testing viewpoint

• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Familiarity with API testing, database testing, regression testing, and performance testing principles

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring abilities

• Experience operating in Agile/Scrum environments and leading QA teams

• ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent QA certification is preferred
