• Oversee the QA and implementation support activities for the SLAMNET-Parcel rollout in Mexico, ensuring alignment between business needs, technical execution, vendor deliverables, and operational readiness.
• Serve as the primary coordination point among the SLAMNET vendor, the client technical team, Brokerage business stakeholders, and QA resources.
• Monitor implementation progress, open issues, defects, functional gaps, dependencies, risks, and necessary decisions throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Convert Brokerage business needs and operational requirements into concise functional and technical specifications for the vendor and technical teams.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and coordinate change requests or enhancements required by the Mexico Brokerage operation during the implementation phase.
• Establish and manage QA test plans, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, defect tracking, and validation activities for SLAMNET-Parcel functionalities.
• Assign testing tasks to QA Engineers, ensuring accurate execution, documentation, evidence collection, and prompt follow-up on defects or issues.
• Confirm that delivered functionalities meet approved requirements prior to progressing to business validation, UAT, release readiness, or production deployment.
• Assist with issue triage by examining defects, determining business impact, collaborating with vendor/technical teams, and ensuring effective resolution.
• Deliver regular status updates to project stakeholders, emphasizing progress, obstacles, risks, defects, and necessary escalations.
• Aid in go-live readiness activities, including final validation, defect resolution, business sign-off assistance, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Ensure QA documentation, test evidence, defect logs, requirement traceability, and implementation tracking artifacts are properly maintained.
• Demonstrated experience leading QA initiatives for system implementations, ideally in logistics, parcel, transportation, customs, or Brokerage-related settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of Mexico Brokerage operations, customs processes, parcel clearance workflows, regulatory requirements, and operational dependencies.
• Experience acting as a liaison between business users, technical teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Strong capability to translate business requirements into functional specifications, test scenarios, and validation criteria.
• Proven experience in coordinating QA teams, assigning testing tasks, reviewing test evidence, and following up on defect resolution.
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, defect management, test case design, UAT support, regression testing, and release validation.
• Familiarity with project tracking, QA, or defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, HP ALM, or similar.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, dependencies, risks, and escalations in an implementation environment.
• Advanced conversational proficiency in English and Spanish is essential (Will be assessed).
