This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the clinical AI product area, focusing on measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with clinicians and customers to utilize real workflows that inform product development.
• Convert strategy into a prioritized backlog, working closely with Engineering and Design teams to build it collaboratively.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle, from discovery through to launch and subsequent iterations.
• Collaborate with Data Science/AI, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success during FDA-regulated development.
• Establish detection strategies across various areas including structural heart disease, heart failure, AFib, pulmonary disease, and associated clinical workflows.
• Work alongside Data Science on the development, validation, and clinical-grade governance of algorithms.
• Represent Eko to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and physicians, fostering relationships and providing evidence to build clinician trust and encourage adoption.
• Travel up to 30% to clinician and customer sites, attend conferences, and participate in company meetings.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of product management experience or a proven record of Staff-level impact in clinical products.
• Extensive experience in a clinical domain, with a strong preference for cardiology and/or pulmonary fields.
• Proven history of bringing FDA-regulated / Software-as-a-Medical-Device (SaMD) products from concept to market.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with data science teams on AI/ML product development.
• Strong grasp of clinical workflows and decision-making processes at the point of care.
• Exceptional executive-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills; comfortable serving as a physician-facing leader.
• Ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with little oversight.
• Capacity to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Preferred qualifications include a clinical background or advanced clinical/scientific degree; a network of KOLs or publication history; experience in clinical decision support or diagnostic AI; experience in high-growth digital health or medical devices; familiarity with SaaS/subscription business models; and knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and CPT coding.
