Lead Product Engineer, JavaScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance web experiences for buyers and administrative users.

• Create dashboards, reporting tools, and features for data visualization.

• Design and implement workflows and product functionalities supported by SQL.

• Integrate REST APIs from both internal and third-party sources.

• Work closely with founders and stakeholders to convert business requirements into product features.

• Enhance usability, performance, reliability, and maintainability of the platform.

• Influence technical decisions and take part in discussions regarding the product roadmap.

• Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools to speed up delivery and enhance engineering productivity.

• Function with a high level of ownership and independence in a dynamic startup atmosphere.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building customer-facing SaaS products, marketplaces, dashboards, admin portals, analytics platforms, or B2B web applications.

• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver product features from initial concept to production.

• Extensive experience in creating responsive and user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Solid understanding of browser fundamentals and current web development practices.

• Experience in designing and utilizing REST APIs.

• Familiarity with integrating third-party services and data sources.

• Proficient SQL skills.

• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational database systems.

• Comfortable working with applications and workflows that are data-intensive.

• Experience using Git and contemporary development workflows.

• Strong skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

• Ability to balance speed and quality within a startup context.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Strong sense of accountability and ownership over products.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies as part of the software development process.

• Nice to have: Experience with Supabase or PostgREST, data visualization libraries like ECharts, D3, Chart.js, Recharts, Docker, and modern deployment workflows.
