Lead Product Designer – UI/UX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the design process for our Digital Wallet product, covering everything from initial discovery and user flows to a refined, production-ready user interface.

• Create user-friendly experiences tailored for merchants, administrators, and internal operations teams.

• Transform intricate payment, financial, and compliance workflows into straightforward, user-centric journeys.

• Develop, sustain, and enhance Peratera’s design system and component library using Figma.

• Work in close collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the entire product development process.

• Organize and execute user research, usability testing, and customer interviews as necessary.

• Advocate for design in product discussions and assist in shaping product strategy and roadmap decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Product Design, with a proven track record of leading complex projects or managing end-to-end design initiatives.

• Proficiency in designing B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, banking, or other data-intensive products.

• Strong user experience skills, capable of simplifying intricate workflows and information architectures.

• Advanced skills in Figma, including expertise in design systems, components, variables, prototyping, and developer handoff processes.

• A portfolio showcasing exceptional UX thinking, interaction design, and refined UI.

• Experience in establishing or expanding a design system from inception.

• Familiarity with working in cross-functional Agile product teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
