This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +1 more country.
• Assume responsibility for user and product research, facilitate ideation sessions, create end-to-end mockup solutions, and conduct user testing.
• Refine designs to produce validated and impactful solutions.
• Promote product design practices throughout the Product and R&D organization.
• Advocate for user-centered solutions and represent user requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Research teams in an Agile setting.
• Lead the design process from initial ideation to product delivery and launch.
• Identify developer challenges and devise practical design solutions.
• Acknowledge human-only, human-and-agent, and agent-led workflows, engaging the AX practice as needed.
• Create clear, trustworthy moments for human oversight, control, review, and override in AI-assisted features.
• Contribute to the development of the UX practice and its interaction with the AX discipline.
• Offer training to assist teams in adopting design best practices.
• Mentor and guide the designers you collaborate with.
• Introduce creative ideas and methods to enhance the product design process.
• Over 5 years of experience in UX or Product Design.
• Proven track record in leading projects from planning and user-experience research to product design processes and solution testing.
• Experience working within cross-functional teams, including design and engineering.
• Capability to transition from macro vision to implementation details in an iterative and collaborative manner.
• A degree in a UX-related field, combined with professional experience with complex products, preferably in B2B SaaS.
• Background in the technology industry.
• Working knowledge of AI copilots, assistants, or agents and their influence on product experiences.
• Ability to recognize when a feature involves an agent and discuss it with AX and AI teams.
• Familiarity with the UX - UAX - AX spectrum.
• Strong communication skills to articulate human-centered design needs to technical and AI-focused stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted design tools such as Figma Make, Cursor, and Claude.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Bonus: Knowledge of low-code platforms, software development processes, or related technical domains.
