Lead Product Designer

Posted May 20

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Cultivating a robust design culture within the team: scaling expertise, establishing shared standards and values, and clearly delineating UX functions.

• Providing operational leadership in a multifunctional environment: managing a team of designers — overseeing management, recruitment, onboarding, and development; fostering motivation and engagement.

• Optimizing design processes and engaging in strategic planning: participating in the formulation of the product design strategy.

• Leading the development of strong, autonomous design teams within various product teams.

• Designing, scaling, and maintaining a modern design system.

• Ensuring high quality of UX/UI, consistency of solutions, and tangible impact on product metrics.

• Streamlining design processes and implementing best practices in UX (A/B testing, UX research, leveraging insights).

• Actively participating in the planning and execution of the design strategy, redesigning critical flows, and integrating innovations.

• Utilizing AI tools to enhance speed, quality, and efficiency of teamwork.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have 4+ years of experience in product design and have successfully implemented cohesive design systems in digital products.

• You possess expertise in mobile (iOS, Android) and web design.

• You think user-first and create solutions focused on metrics and product needs.

• You have experience in leadership or mentoring within a design team.

• You can communicate in English at a minimum of B2 level.

• You are results-oriented, open to innovations, and drive changes and product quality.

🏝️ Benefits

• Freedom in work format — the opportunity to work from the office in Kyiv, Lviv, Warsaw, or remotely, with support for comfortable conditions in three cities.

• A strong environment for growth — 75% of the team consists of middle and senior specialists, allowing you to rapidly advance through challenging tasks and strong colleagues.

• Support for physical and mental well-being — participation in the OBRIO Wellness Club or coverage for individual sports activities and a Spiritual Allowance for your balance (see how this works with us).

• Time for recovery — 20 paid vacation days, unlimited sick leave, and the possibility of sabbatical leave. To achieve the best results, one must feel their best.

• Involvement in socially significant initiatives — participation in charitable projects, volunteering, and supporting mobilized colleagues and their families. One of our projects, OBRIO Innovation Space x KPI, was recently nominated for the DOU Awards.

• Investment in your professional development — a dedicated budget for training, mentorship, and participation in top Ukrainian and international conferences (IT Arena, DOU Days, Web Summit, TikTok & Meta Summits).

• Exciting collaborations — we partner with Ukrainian brands (SENS, Matcher, Syndicat, KURAZH) and provide stylish OBRIO merchandise not just for festive occasions.
