Lead Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional product design for intricate products, utilizing insights-driven methods to address significant user challenges.

• Enhance seamless experiences across multiple products by identifying opportunities that serve diverse user groups.

• Oversee UX initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Research teams.

• Execute and implement UX research, establish success metrics, and leverage data to assess design effectiveness.

• Promote robust collaboration through effective communication, stakeholder alignment, and sharing insights and ongoing work.

• Guide and mentor designers and stakeholders while continually refining design practices and enhancing team capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in SaaS product design, showcasing a strong portfolio of influential work.

• Demonstrated capability to lead comprehensive user-centered design processes, from research and problem identification to delivery and evaluation.

• In-depth knowledge of UX methodologies, including research, journey mapping, prototyping, testing, analytics, and ideation.

• Experience in designing intricate, cross-product experiences across responsive web and iOS platforms.

• Proven success in enhancing design practices, elevating team maturity, and mentoring designers.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing abilities across all organizational levels.

• Proficient in navigating uncertainty and delivering practical, iterative solutions in fast-paced agile settings.
