This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop user flows, diagrams, wireframes, and designs that meet product specifications while adhering to design standards.
• Create high-fidelity visual designs and/or prototypes that effectively showcase user flows.
• Provide design specifications and necessary assets to development teams.
• Engage in design reviews to gather feedback from designers and stakeholders.
• Lead collaborative workshops that foster innovation.
• Act as the advocate for the Product Triad, motivating meaningful collaboration to enable your team to achieve its best work.
• Refine existing application features to enhance usability and drive key performance metrics.
• Support the planning and estimation of design tasks, contributing to overall workflow coordination and expectation setting.
• Perform product research and usability testing.
• Conduct thorough domain research to understand customers and technology.
• Carry out competitive analysis of similar products and services.
• Contribute to and manage design pattern libraries.
• Offer mentorship and support to other design team members.
• Over 6 years of professional experience in UX design, UI design, product design, and/or web application design.
• A self-motivated individual with excellent time management skills who can manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
• A portfolio showcasing the ability to conceptualize and exhibit visual communication skills.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design processes and methodologies, particularly in relation to enterprise software, PAAS, and on-premises applications.
• Proficient in design principles, with a solid grasp of grid systems, typography, and color theory.
• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency in design.
• Experience coordinating and conducting qualitative and quantitative research, including usability studies, discovery interviews, and product analytics data analysis.
• A strong collaborator with experience working within cross-functional, international teams.
• Proven systems thinking capabilities.
• Proficient in Figma, Figma Make, Zeplin, and relevant AI-assisted design and prototyping tools.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
• Experience with cloud, on-premises, and hybrid data platforms, or related technologies.
