Lead Procurement – Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of essential procurement processes for manufacturing and R&D from start to finish.

• Monitor and manage delivery schedules, quantities, and quality standards.

• Address and resolve any delays and supply chain challenges.

• Oversee international logistics, including shipping, brokers, and customs regulations.

• Lead negotiations and foster long-term relationships with suppliers.

• Identify alternative sources and mitigate reliance on single suppliers.

• Proactively manage supply risks to prevent potential disruptions.

• Develop and implement clear procurement procedures.

• Minimize manual tasks and reduce dependency on specific personnel.

• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, R&D, and Finance departments.

• Create annual procurement strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.

• Monitor inventory levels and anticipate future needs.

• Source contractors for unique R&D requirements.

• Oversee the procurement and warehouse team, including task assignment, execution oversight, and process enhancement.

• Facilitate seamless collaboration among procurement, warehouse, and production teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in procurement, operations, or logistics.

• Proven hands-on experience; not solely a managerial role.

• Experience in international logistics and customs operations.

• Proficient in supplier negotiations and crisis management.

• Knowledge of procurement processes within manufacturing or hardware sectors.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, or similar).

• Proficient in Ukrainian and English at a confident business level, including negotiations, supplier communication, and documentation.
