Lead Pipe & Mechanical QA/QC Specialist - Construction Management

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program throughout all phases of the project.

• Perform routine audits of contractor operations.

• Ensure contractors are working with the most current revisions of design documents.

• Monitor work progress and emphasize significant developments in daily reports.

• Oversee the appropriate storage and upkeep of materials and equipment.

• Analyze and assess construction test reports and compliance documentation.

• Provide supervision of construction activities.

• Ensure all quality records and 'as-built' documentation are accurately maintained.

• Compile and communicate quality audit results and performance metrics to project management and stakeholders.

• Assist contractors with the pre-planning of their quality control processes.

• Accurately document observations from tests and inspections.

• Track and follow up on non-conformance reports.

• Regularly summarize and report on QA/QC performance statistics.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in mechanical quality assurance, operations, and maintenance within the power generation sector.

• Knowledge of industry regulations, codes & standards, and best practices related to power plant construction, operations, maintenance, and safety.

• Proficient in ASME code welding.

• Familiarity with National Boiler Vessel or repair alterations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel and work in various locations throughout the United States as needed.
