Lead Performance Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Oversees enterprise performance engineering initiatives to ensure the scalability, stability, reliability, and responsiveness of distributed cloud and hybrid environments.

• Responsible for crafting and implementing load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing strategies while pinpointing bottlenecks within applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.

• Collaborates closely with Architecture, DevOps, QA, and Development teams to validate production readiness, enhance system performance, and facilitate high-availability cloud deployments within Azure and AKS environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Apache JMeter

• Experience with Akamai CloudTest

• Familiarity with Azure Load Testing

• Knowledge of Azure Application Insights

• Understanding of Azure DB Metrics

• AKS Container Monitoring expertise

• Ability to create PowerShell Monitoring Scripts

• Key Skills

• Performance and scalability testing capabilities

• Knowledge of distributed systems and API architecture

• Experience with Azure cloud and Kubernetes (AKS)

• Skills in performance metrics analysis and tuning

• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated performance pipelines

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

• Ability to lead, coach, and mentor Performance Engineer staff offshore

• Experience in the Mortgage or FinTech industry

• Background with enterprise SaaS platforms and high-volume transaction systems
