Lead Operations Program Manager, Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the annual and ongoing continuous planning for the Product organization, leveraging extensive knowledge of company operations and business performance to shape operating rhythms for strategic alignment.

• Define the operational framework of the Product organization — including leadership forums, decision-making processes, and cross-functional operating rhythms — to ensure scalability across teams and guide the function's trajectory.

• Direct significant, strategic initiatives that span Product, Engineering, Design, and Analytics, fostering alignment among teams and addressing high-level challenges with minimal oversight.

• Establish the strategy and procedures for essential Product operations programs (e.g., onboarding, communications, team rituals), while ensuring they scale with the organization and embody the operational ethos of the Product team.

• Spearhead large-scale change management initiatives, persuading cross-functional teams to embrace new planning strategies, systems, or processes.

• Facilitate strategic conversations with senior leaders, adeptly managing stakeholder dynamics and harmonizing diverse viewpoints to secure consensus.

• Assume responsibility for ambiguous, cross-functional issues, employing structured problem-solving and systems thinking to formulate comprehensive, long-term solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or program management within high-growth technology companies or similarly dynamic environments.

• Extensive experience collaborating with Product and/or Design organizations, demonstrating expert-level fluency in the planning, prioritization, and delivery processes of modern product teams.

• A proven history of leading large, strategic programs and cross-functional initiatives — influencing senior leaders and aligning teams around common objectives without formal authority.

• Experience in developing scalable processes and planning systems that enhance organizational decision-making and execution.

• Demonstrated capability to create structure and clarity from ambiguity — utilizing structured problem-solving and systems thinking to craft comprehensive, long-term solutions that assist organizations in navigating change.

• Familiarity with modern planning methodologies and tools (e.g., Continuous Planning, Linear, or similar platforms) that facilitate the operations of product organizations.

• Experience in consumer marketplaces, SMB platforms, or technology-enabled services is preferred.
