Lead Network Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary escalation point during shifts for intricate network challenges related to routing, switching, firewalling, VPN, and connectivity issues.

• Deliver expert-level troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis.

• Supervise daily NOC functions, encompassing network monitoring, alert triage, and proactive remediation efforts.

• Guarantee 24×7 coverage, maintain quality during shift handoffs, and ensure operational continuity.

• Take ownership of significant network incidents from detection to resolution.

• Facilitate post-incident reviews and promote long-term network improvements.

• Collaborate with Windows/Linux teams to address cross-domain issues while upholding credential boundaries.

• Offer network expertise for the Cyber Backup environment and mentor Level 2 network personnel.

• Manage network runbooks, standard operating procedures, diagrams, and configuration documentation.

• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement enhancements across tools and workflows.

• Provide daily support and guidance to Level 2 and Level 1 personnel.

• Assess readiness and review, as well as approve runbooks and instructional guides.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree with 4–6 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Extensive knowledge in network engineering, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and load balancing.

• Proven capability to lead technical teams in a 24×7 operational setting.

• Strong experience in incident management and operational reporting.

• U.S. Citizenship and residency required.

• Willingness to work rotating shifts and support mission-critical operations.
