Lead ML Scientist – Speech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and refine advanced deep learning speech systems that enable Agara’s real-time conversations across various languages, accents, noise conditions, and voice interfaces.

• Collaborate closely with a team of machine learning scientists and engineers to train and deploy speech models.

• Engage in applied research and experimentation as a fundamental aspect of your responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.Tech, M.Tech, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.

• Proficiency in at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch / TensorFlow).

• Significant prior experience in developing real-world speech systems, including speech recognition, text-to-speech, and speaker diarization.

• Strong programming skills in Python.

• Additional advantage if you have publications in prestigious journals or conferences such as ICASSP, NeurIPS, PAMI, or InterSpeech.

• Prior experience in building voice conversational AI systems.

• Familiarity with textual NLP systems.
