πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee account delivery for small to medium-sized accounts, ensuring that deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and adhere to high quality standards.

β€’ Create, develop, and evaluate medical communication materials such as slide decks, video scripts, leave-behind documents, website content, manuscripts, congress publications, scientific communication platforms, gap analyses, meeting summaries, and reports.

β€’ Produce well-researched, technically accurate, client-ready work that aligns with client goals.

β€’ Assess and confirm the scientific accuracy, referencing, audience suitability, and quality of the work produced by junior team members.

β€’ Offer feedback, coaching, and mentorship to writers at the junior level.

β€’ Organize and lead medical conferences and meeting events, including symposia, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and communication and publication workshops, including on-site management responsibilities.

β€’ Cultivate scientific knowledge across various therapy areas and develop expertise in at least one specific area.

β€’ Facilitate client meetings, briefing calls, and follow-up discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and subject matter experts.

β€’ Establish and nurture client relationships while contributing to the formation of client strategies.

β€’ Organize account team workloads, oversee small to medium-scale projects, and identify risks and resource requirements.

β€’ Participate in new business pitches.

β€’ Review project timelines, budget hours, scientific resource requirements, account finances, and project outcomes against budget and timeline.

β€’ Submit timesheets promptly and maintain the necessary billability.

β€’ Supervise 1–2 direct reports and manage the activities of junior colleagues.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Advanced degree in a relevant field (PhD, MD, PharmD, etc.).

β€’ 4–6 years of experience in medical writing within Medical Communications.

β€’ Exceptional scientific and editorial skills.

β€’ Proven experience in developing strong relationships with clients and healthcare professionals.

β€’ Capability to critically assess deliverables for scientific accuracy and integrity.

β€’ Background in coaching and mentoring junior writers.

β€’ Proactive mindset and enthusiasm for exploring new approaches.

β€’ Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
