Lead MCE Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead team members by facilitating the lifting operations of equipment at heights exceeding 250’.

• Supervise lifting operations by verifying skills for large components and developing, reviewing, correcting, and updating lifting plans.

• Execute safe and efficient repairs on all electrical systems of Wind Turbines.

• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures on equipment as an Authorized Person.

• Carry out pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Risk Assessments (RAs), and daily safety briefings.

• Engage with vendors and customers in a professional and courteous manner.

• Accurately document all work in various electronic formats and provide constructive feedback to the Safety and Quality department for organizational improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience on any Platforms.

• Experience with Liftra Fixed Rotor exchange is essential.

• Direct experience with turbines is mandatory.

• Capability to read and interpret schematics from various Wind Turbine manufacturers.

• Experience in Main Component Exchange (MCE) is required alongside additional knowledge in lifting operations.

• Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment.

• Ability to identify potential issues and significant faults.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required.
