Lead Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement software solutions for the Telecommunications sector, focusing on Provisioning and Assurance domains.

• Requirement Specification Interpretation: Collaborate with Business Analysts and clients to clarify requirements and eliminate any ambiguities.

• Low-Level Software Design: Develop detailed low-level software designs based on high-level and functional designs to fulfill the functional specifications.

• Documentation and Approval: Document the design process and secure approval from the design authority to ensure the design aligns with overall project integrity.

• Software Development: Write software according to the established requirements.

• Unit Testing: Create unit tests that comply with the approved low-level design, execute these tests, document any issues, and address them as necessary.

• Software Implementation: Develop implementation scripts and deploy the created software into testing and production environments as needed.

• Knowledge Definition and Capture: Transform inherent knowledge into documented knowledge by actively contributing to knowledge management systems such as the internal Wiki and document repositories.

• Conduct training sessions for the team to share and acquire knowledge and skills.

• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent experience, with specialized knowledge in the Telecommunications Provisioning domain.

• Proficient in English within a business context.

• Over 7 years of software development experience with modern Java SE (8+).

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and REST API frameworks.

• Experience in Business Process Management and BPMN, as well as Rules libraries (such as Camunda, Activiti, Drools, etc.).

• Experience with identity management and authentication systems (e.g., Keycloak).

• Knowledge of development, packaging, and release toolchains (including Github, Maven, Kubernetes, etc.).

• Proven experience in leading technical teams or developers on software projects.
