Lead Instructor – Cyber Advance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Lead Instructors are essential in advancing various training initiatives at Correlation One. They will facilitate learning for participants in Correlation One’s programs and collaborate with operational staff to achieve outstanding educational results. Their primary responsibility as instructors will involve delivering larger format lectures, accommodating groups ranging from 20 to 2,000 participants in live sessions, depending on the program.

• Before the program commences, instructors must complete the necessary administrative training. Classes will be conducted virtually via platforms such as Zoom and other online learning tools like Slack.

• Oversee the teaching of a “virtual classroom” as part of a larger program, typically comprising hundreds of participants; instructional responsibilities include:

• Educating learners with Cybersecurity material supplied by Correlation One.

• Preparing thoroughly for all scheduled live sessions and providing curricular insights and feedback prior to the sessions.

• Sharing additional knowledge and resources from the Cybersecurity community.

• In certain cases, instructors may develop case studies and curriculum when interested, with additional compensation available.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the Cybersecurity sector, along with a relevant degree or strong credentials.

• Prior teaching experience, ideally in a remote setting, or practical experience in training junior to mid-level cybersecurity professionals in group environments.

• An enthusiastic educator with a strong commitment to teaching and supporting learners.

• A degree in a technical discipline and/or industry experience in a technical capacity; advanced degrees and research experience at prestigious institutions are also significant advantages.

• Proficiency in using the Unix terminal, particularly with cybersecurity-related applications.

• Knowledge of topics including Networking, Kali Linux, Endpoint security, CompTIA Security+ Certification training, and Triage.

• Industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications (such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent) are highly preferred.

• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
