This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• The Online Lead Instructor is tasked with delivering an average of three courses each five-week module while taking on administrative duties to ensure program effectiveness.
• Actively participate in the evaluation, organization, administration, ongoing review, planning, and advancement of the Construction & Trades Management program.
• Responsible for providing training and updates on product knowledge to staff, which may include assigning, orienting, developing, evaluating, and recognizing instructors within the program.
• Regular collaboration with faculty and the Program Director will be essential to your leadership role.
• Support and monitor the student body, which includes advising on career options, addressing grievances, and consulting with students about their engagement and academic progress.
• Analyze student data to identify at-risk individuals and work in partnership with faculty and staff to offer the necessary support.
• Engage in data collection and analysis to assess program performance, sharing responsibility with Career Services for identifying local advisory board members, setting meeting agendas, hosting meetings, and documenting outcomes.
• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Trades Management, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience in instructional settings.
• Industry Certification: Possession of industry certification in the instructional field as required, or demonstrable knowledge equivalent to the certification. NCCER Certification and OSHA Certification are preferred.
• Instructional Experience: At least 2 years of experience in academic instruction within a post-secondary environment.
• Industry Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience in the field of instruction, specifically in Construction & Trades Management.
• Management/Supervisory Experience: Previous experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
• Instructor Qualification: Must meet the qualifications to serve as an instructor according to institutional and accreditation standards.
