This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Ensuring the exceptional operation of Budderfly HVAC Units within your designated geographic area, which includes the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment.
• Identifying potential maintenance risks associated with HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnosing both electrical and mechanical issues within HVAC/R systems.
• Conducting commissioning checks on HVAC Units to guarantee efficient ongoing operation, including verifying and adjusting HVAC RTU controller configurations along with the mechanical functionality of the units.
• Performing physical maintenance tasks on Budderfly HVAC Units, which encompasses changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting and replacing belts, and examining units for any other mechanical failures.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, as well as conducting warranty services.
• Executing emergency repairs swiftly and efficiently.
• Maintaining daily logs and records of all operations within the Company work order system.
• Ensuring adherence to relevant State and Federal standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with established service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Assisting customers with their inquiries.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a service technician working on HVAC/R systems.
• An HVAC Contractor License and EPA Certification are mandatory.
• Experience with HVAC Controls; familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is advantageous.
• Ability to identify control and mechanical issues before they escalate.
