This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Ensure the exceptional performance of Budderfly HVAC Units within your designated region. This involves the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks associated with HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues within HVAC/R systems.
• Execute commissioning checks of HVAC Units to guarantee their effective operation. This includes verifying and adjusting HVAC RTU controller configurations along with the mechanical functionality of the units.
• Provide hands-on maintenance for Budderfly HVAC Units, including, but not limited to: changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting/replacing belts, and examining units for other mechanical malfunctions.
• Clean, adjust, and repair systems, as well as perform warranty services.
• Carry out emergency repairs swiftly and effectively.
• Maintain daily logs and records of all activities within the Company work order system.
• Ensure adherence to relevant State and Federal regulations, as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Follow service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Assist with customer inquiries.
• No on-call duties are required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a service technician for HVAC/R systems.
• An EPA 608 Certification is mandatory.
• Experience with HVAC Controls is preferred, particularly familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers.
• Ability to identify control and mechanical problems before they escalate.
