Lead Housekeeper

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.

📋 Description

• Actively participates in and supervises the execution of various industrial housekeeping services.

• Delivers a wide array of cleaning projects and services essential for maintaining the cleanliness, efficiency, and livability of commercial and industrial facilities.

• Manages and oversees the operations of a commissary facility.

• Responsible for fulfilling all obligations related to assigned personnel.

• Demonstrated success in leadership and management within a Camp Environment.

• Proven record of Safety Training and compliance in a leadership capacity.

• Guides and directs the assigned housekeeping and janitorial staff.

• Assists in training new employees and provides continuous training for current staff.

• Regularly performs inspections to ensure the quality of services rendered.

• Coordinates the maintenance and care of associated equipment.

• Conducts safety meetings and ensures daily operations align with safety protocols.

• Addresses minor maintenance issues or client emergencies as they arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in commercial cleaning.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in commercial housekeeping.

• At least one (1) year of verifiable supervisory experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or the hospitality sector.

• Basic proficiency in operating Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team with colleagues, customers, and clients.

• Must successfully fulfill all pre-employment contract requirements, which may include, but are not limited to, a drug test, physical and fit-for-duty assessment, and hearing test.

• Must be capable of standing for 12 hours per shift during the scheduled rotation.

• Must comply with and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
