This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Collaborate with operations teams and the reliability team, reviewing field reports and operational data to pinpoint additional work and aid in mitigation planning for potential emergent issues related to generator outages.
• Engage with cross-functional teams, investigate prior outage reports and operational data to create informed recommendations.
• Provide support for the installed base, which includes activities like resolving customer issues, addressing fleet concerns, implementing service bulletins, and managing Monitoring & Diagnostics and fleet configuration.
• Maintain fleet data and manage outages effectively.
• Cultivate specialized knowledge within their area of expertise.
• Act as a resource for best practices and quality assurance.
• Contribute to the development of strategies and policies, ensuring their implementation within their area of responsibility.
• Exercise judgment to make decisions or resolve moderately complex tasks or issues in operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering domains.
• Offer a fresh perspective on existing solutions.
• Leverage technical expertise for data analysis to back recommendations.
• Serve as a mentor for less experienced colleagues.
• Potentially lead small projects with moderate risks and resource needs.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience in generator outages, design, or repair (or 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree).
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in leading programs/projects successfully.
• Proficient in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
