This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Prepare responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and other documents requested by clients.
• Craft high-quality responses for a diverse range of proposals, including multinational submissions, and conduct research to provide the necessary answers for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Oversee the proposal development process and manage the individual bid team to ensure proposals are completed on time. This includes acting as the main point of contact throughout the proposal development process, establishing and managing timelines and deliverables, scheduling meetings, taking and distributing meeting notes, coordinating with the pricing team, and ensuring proposals are submitted to clients by the specified deadlines and delivery methods.
• Lead conference calls and meetings with various levels of management and contributors, keeping discussions focused and ensuring the development of an appropriate sales strategy; collaborate with stakeholders to validate the strategy within a global business context.
• Qualify leads in accordance with existing BCD methodology and target groups.
• Ensure that proposals, supporting materials, and client-facing documents maintain accuracy in grammar, style, continuity, and content.
• Proofread and edit proposals and business development/marketing materials as necessary to enhance clarity, accuracy, and readability.
• Convert statistics and technical details into customer value propositions and ensure their appropriateness for inclusion in the proposal content database.
• Support sales initiatives across various projects.
• Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in a bid writing role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Italian, along with strong presentation abilities.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with the travel industry is a plus.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to translate sales strategies into compelling written messages.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse, multicultural, cross-functional international teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, along with proofreading experience.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel when necessary.
