This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Conduct research to identify potential leads through multiple channels including LinkedIn, databases, social media, and online research.
• Create and implement outbound prospecting strategies including email outreach, cold calls, and social media engagement.
• Assess both inbound and outbound leads according to established criteria.
• Keep CRM systems updated with precise lead information.
• Arrange meetings and transition qualified leads to the sales team.
• Work collaboratively with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment in messaging and targeting strategies.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on lead generation metrics and performance indicators.
• Continuously refine outreach strategies to enhance conversion rates.
• 1–3+ years of experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, or Appointment Setting.
• Proven experience with cold outreach methods, including email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
• Familiarity with running automation campaigns using tools such as Apollo, Instantly, Lemlist, Smartlead, etc.
• Previous experience supporting founders or small businesses is preferred.
• Proficient in using CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.
• Knowledgeable about outbound automation tools.
• Capable of sourcing leads with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, etc.
• Basic skills in data management and list building.
• Comfortable utilizing dialers and cold-calling platforms.
