Lead Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee engineering efforts for various initiatives at Sierra.

• Design the architecture, produce clean code, and collaborate with your colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of outstanding products.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to transition products from concept to production.

• Assist in expanding our team and participate in the recruitment of prospective candidates.

• Guide and mentor other engineers to enhance the team's capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 1 year in a leadership position.

• Possess a growth mindset: capable of quickly mastering new languages, frameworks, and technologies.

• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end product development, from concept to production.

• Frontend expertise: TypeScript, React.

• Backend proficiency: TypeScript or Python, Node.js or FastAPI.

• Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Capability to accurately assess timelines and project scope.

• Bonus:

• Experience utilizing AI tools for coding (e.g., Cursor).

• Background in developing products utilizing Generative AI / LLMs (e.g., integrating OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, etc.).
