Lead Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions utilizing advanced technologies such as React, Python, and AWS.

• Conceive, develop, and maintain both frontend (React) and backend (Python) elements of web applications.

• Collect requirements and implement new features from start to finish.

• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code in accordance with software development best practices.

• Design and integrate cloud-based solutions using AWS services to ensure reliability and scalability.

• Enhance application performance and guarantee a seamless, high-quality user experience.

• Engage in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to uphold code quality standards.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to continuously enhance solutions.

• Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues throughout the entire stack promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Solid practical experience with React for frontend development, including component architecture and state management.

• Strong expertise in Python FastAPI for backend development, encompassing RESTful API design and implementation.

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or similar).

• Experience with AI systems or AI-driven applications is preferred.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development methodologies.

• Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in agile, cross-functional team settings.

• English: Advanced (essential for effective communication with global teams).
