Lead Full-Stack Developer – Marketplace, Home Services Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the **complete development** of a two-sided marketplace platform.

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance architecture.

• Plan and supervise the implementation of essential features:

• - Onboarding and profiles for service providers.

• - Customer booking and scheduling processes.

• - Transactions and payment handling.

• - Systems for ratings, reviews, and trust.

• - Functionality for search, discovery, and matching.

• Make critical choices regarding the **technology stack, infrastructure, and system architecture**.

• Guide and manage developers, ensuring adherence to high code quality and best practices.

• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to bring the roadmap to fruition.

• Guarantee that the platform scales effectively as user demand increases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a **Lead Developer or Senior Engineer** on a **marketplace or comparable platform**.

• Strong expertise in developing **two-sided platforms** (including users and service providers).

• Proficiency in:

• - Frontend technologies such as React, Vue, or similar.

• - Backend technologies including Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar.

• Experience with:

• - System architecture and building scalable infrastructure.

• - Designing APIs and backend services.

• - Integrating payment systems.

• - Designing databases (SQL or NoSQL).

• Deep understanding of **search, matching systems, and real-time functionalities**.

• Proven capability to **lead a team and make technical choices**.

• **Nice to Have:**

• Background in home services, gig economy, or service-oriented platforms.

• Experience in mobile development (React Native, Flutter, or native).
