Lead Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical strategy and architecture for scalable content management system (CMS) applications.

• Establish foundational performance metrics for large-scale projects.

• Spearhead frontend infrastructure optimization and enhancements of Core Web Vitals across various products.

• Supervise code reviews while maintaining high standards for code quality and maintainability.

• Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to product owners and non-technical stakeholders.

• Streamline development processes and workflows to boost team productivity.

• Collaborate with remote product management teams to deliver web applications that cater to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js with App Router.

• Extensive experience with internationalization (i18n) lifecycles for large-scale applications.

• Familiarity with integrating translation management systems like Crowdin.

• Proficiency in using monorepo tools such as NX or Turborepo.

• Experience in integrating third-party APIs, analytics, and A/B testing solutions.

• Proven track record in SEO optimization and PageSpeed enhancements, including CLS and INP metrics.

• Strong UI/UX capabilities with Figma.

• Experience in developing responsive, consumer-facing web applications.

• Ability to thrive in AI-driven engineering environments.

• Strong engineering judgment, along with architectural ownership and accountability.
