Lead Engineer – Infrastructure as Code, IaC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical lead and primary developer for the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) service.

• Take ownership of the architecture, code organization, and overall technical strategy.

• Engage directly with automation code using tools such as Ansible, Python, and various scripting languages.

• Collaborate extensively with the Service Owner and a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Mentor and support fellow contributors through technical guidance and code reviews.

• Solid foundation in infrastructure automation and platform engineering.

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

• Proficient in working within Windows-based environments.

• Possess an engineering mindset that values structure, quality, and maintainability.

• Capable of taking technical ownership and collaborating across teams.

• Nice to Have - Experience with security hardening and policy-driven infrastructure configurations.

• Background in DevOps or SecDevOps within enterprise settings.
