This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• As the Lead for energy product management and the domain architecture of the TENTAC platform, you will influence the future product landscape.
• You will create a modular product toolkit for all business segments, including electricity, gas, heat/district heating, and water/sewerage, and oversee domain product logic, tariff models, and price adjustment procedures.
• Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Architecture, Delivery, and customer teams, you will ensure that the platform remains scalable, standardized, and ready for future challenges.
• Build and enhance a modular product toolkit that encompasses product families, building blocks, and variant logic for all pertinent segments.
• Establish a standardized product and pricing framework that includes nomenclature, tariff types, governance for customer-specific extensions, and domain modeling for tariff types, operands/factors, account assignments, and product-dependent billing control.
• Assume domain responsibility for utilizing the UPIL to guarantee seamless product integration, and contribute to integration and API concepts related to the product configurator and UPIL APIs, adhering to a strict “keep-the-core-clean” philosophy.
• Design and implement robust price adjustment processes that include rule sets, procedural steps, and system support, ensuring consistency throughout product changes and lead-to-cash processes.
• Convert market, customer, and project needs into epics/backlog items and provide close support throughout the implementation to delivery stages.
• Serve as a sparring partner for Product Owners, Architecture, and delivery teams, ensuring domain consistency within the standard.
• Optional: contribute to end-to-end scenarios involving the Sales & Service Cloud V2 (e.g., sales processes, service functions, integration scenarios).
• Several years of experience as an architect or lead at the intersection of business and IT (preferably within the utilities domain).
• Excellent knowledge of tariffing, product logic, pricing/condition models, and billing control.
• Experience with UPIL or similar product integration/configuration methodologies.
• Strong conceptual abilities: capable of translating complex requirements into standardized models and actionable epics.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, particularly in environments with multiple roles and boards.
• Optional: experience with the Sales & Service Cloud V2 in a utilities context.
• Understanding of product lifecycles, versioning, activation processes, and sales periods.
• Experience with S/4 Utilities-related integration and architecture topics (product management, price information sources, price adjustment support).
