Lead Embedded Firmware Engineer – Matter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Create production-quality firmware for Matter-enabled devices, from initial development to certification.

• Take ownership of firmware development throughout the device lifecycle.

• Engage in hardware debugging and validation processes.

• Work closely with hardware engineers and cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in professional embedded/firmware engineering using C/C++.

• Extensive experience with the ESP-IDF framework.

• Proven experience implementing Matter on ESP32 series silicon.

• Practical experience with Matter transport at the firmware level.

• Skilled in debugging commissioning flows and protocol-level challenges.

• Knowledge of secure boot, flash encryption, and device attestation within the Matter framework.

• Contributions to open-source Matter or ESP-IDF projects.

• Proficient in reading specifications and translating them into firmware implementations.
