Lead Electrical Specialist – Construction Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Supervise greenfield and brownfield projects, as well as routine and preventive maintenance activities on electrical systems.

• Propel troubleshooting and diagnostic initiatives to swiftly identify and rectify intricate electrical problems.

• Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to strategize and implement electrical maintenance operations.

• Formulate, execute, and uphold safety protocols and procedures.

• Assess equipment performance and efficiency.

• Keep detailed records of all electrical maintenance operations.

• Offer technical leadership, support, and guidance to plant operators.

• Ensure that the ongoing progress and final work align with drawings, specifications, and contractual obligations.

• Monitor work progress and emphasize key developments in daily reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in electrical installations, operations, and maintenance within the power generation sector.

• Extensive technical knowledge and proficiency in power plant electrical systems and equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, generators, and control systems.

• Skilled in advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic methods for electrical systems.

• Knowledgeable about industry regulations, standards, and best practices concerning power plant electrical operations, maintenance, and safety.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Readiness to travel and work in diverse locations throughout the United States.
