Lead Electrical Engineer – Battery Energy Storage Systems, BESS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overall responsibility for electrical aspects of BESS projects.

• Serve as the main contact for all electrical issues within the project.

• Convert intricate technical requirements into clear project frameworks, decisions, and actions.

• Facilitate coordination among internal teams, external partners, engineering offices, and suppliers.

• Evaluate and authorize technical designs and documentation (schematics, layouts, calculations, protection concepts).

• Oversee electrical installers, specialized trades, and plant construction teams.

• Guarantee technical quality throughout the implementation process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Power/Energy Engineering.

• A minimum of five years of experience in executing electrical projects within the energy sector.

• Comprehensive knowledge of high-voltage systems, grid connections, and battery energy storage systems.

• Capability to manage and coordinate external engineering firms, suppliers, or EPC contractors independently.

• Ability to assess and approve technical documentation autonomously.

• Regular attendance in Munich for coordination meetings and project activities.

• Proficiency in German and very good command of English.
