This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Drive the growth of individual products by generating new sales and expanding existing client relationships within a designated national account territory.
• Take ownership of sales performance for designated products, which includes acquiring new logos and upselling to current customers.
• Collaborate with national account sales and account teams to pinpoint target accounts and market segments.
• Formulate product-specific sales strategies and growth initiatives.
• Assist in the development of the sales pipeline and progression of deals, including discussions with clients and brokers.
• Provide sales teams, brokers, and consultants with compelling value propositions, competitive positioning, and client-ready messaging and materials.
• Conduct sales training, product education sessions, and presentations for the market.
• Simplify complex product features into clear, client-centric benefits.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, the competitive landscape, and the needs of national account buyers.
• Collect voice-of-the-customer insights through engagement with brokers, consultants, and clients.
• Offer insights to product management for the enhancement of positioning, pricing, and packaging.
• Monitor sales, conversion rates, revenue growth, and adoption/penetration rates.
• Identify performance gaps and execute targeted growth strategies.
• Provide regular reports and insights to leadership.
• Contribute to business cases, product improvements, and strategies for market expansion.
• Supply field-driven input for the product roadmap and priority setting.
• Ensure that offerings are in line with customer demand and commercially viable.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in field sales leadership, product strategy, commercial product roles, sales enablement, business development, account growth, or other market-facing positions.
• Proven experience in driving revenue growth through product positioning, sales strategies, market execution, or expanding within existing accounts.
• In-depth understanding of payor-focused products, healthcare solutions, or related segments in the commercial market.
• Experience working closely with sales teams and product leaders in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in supporting discussions with external clients and brokers.
• Ability to translate product direction into commercially relevant messaging and practical sales execution.
• Strong organizational judgment, prioritization, and follow-through in high-visibility, market-facing roles.
• Capacity to operate independently and influence decisions without formal authority.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with specialized training or relevant professional qualifications.
