This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the Partner Portal and Billing/Admin Portal from start to finish, encompassing architecture, roadmap, delivery, quality, and daily operations.
• Convert partner workflows, trials, quoting, discounting, subscriptions, and licensing requirements into sustainable software solutions.
• Set the technical vision and make informed decisions regarding build versus extend options.
• Define and advance application architecture utilizing React/TypeScript, ASP.NET Core MVC, C#, Node.js/Next.js, Docker, nginx, and PostgreSQL.
• Design integration interfaces between the portals, HubSpot, ERPs, telemetry, and authentication/SSO systems.
• Establish engineering standards for code reviews, testing, CI/CD, observability, and secure-by-default methodologies.
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance.
• Write production-ready code across the full stack and troubleshoot complex application, integration, and infrastructure challenges.
• Manage HubSpot CRM, ERP, telemetry/usage data, authentication, and SSO integrations.
• Deploy and maintain applications across Azure, AWS, and the supporting Hetzner infrastructure.
• Oversee monitoring, logging, alerting, releases, environments, configuration, and change control.
• Offer escalation support and facilitate root-cause analysis for production issues.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Partner, Support, and R&D teams to prioritize impactful work.
• Communicate project scope and timelines to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document architecture, runbooks, and configuration details.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and consistently enhance reliability, security, and developer experience.
• Over 8 years of professional software development experience, including senior or lead-level ownership of production web applications.
• Strong full-stack expertise with React/TypeScript and Node.js/Next.js.
• Experience in designing and managing containerized services with Docker.
• Experience in deploying applications to Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS platforms, including HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
• Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases and evolving data models.
• A solid track record of technical ownership for production systems, including architecture, delivery, and operations.
• Strong comprehension of authentication, authorization, role-based access, and secure management of sensitive business and financial information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Availability to work core hours in EST.
• Experience with ERP integration, such as Acumatica, Sage Intacct, or Dynamics 365 Business Central (preferred).
• Familiarity with quoting, billing, subscription, or licensing systems (preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tools (preferred).
• Exposure to AI-assisted or agentic development tools and methodologies (preferred).
• Bilingual in French and English (preferred).
• Experience in SaaS or financial software managing sensitive data (preferred).
