Lead Database Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Ensure weekly updates of EHR data for current Vestrum panel physicians.

• Integrate new panel members from existing EMR systems.

• Lead data integrations, ETL processes, and database operations based on collaborator requirements.

• Maintain and enhance existing integrations while incorporating new EMR integrations.

• Continuously enhance automated quality assurance functions to validate incoming data and guarantee accurate loading into the warehouse.

• Normalize various EMR data into the Data Warehouse and analytical database.

• Maintain mapping tables for use by analysts (including physicians, drugs, dosage forms, and strengths, etc.).

• Link and transform patient activity data into standardized outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

• Prior roles demonstrating the skills necessary to meet the job responsibilities (approximately 5+ years) or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.

• Proficiency in Python and Pyspark.

• Expert-level SQL skills.

• Proficient in SQL Server database technologies, including SSIS and SSRS.

• Skilled in SQL and relational database development.

• Experience in building Cloud BI solutions using AWS.

• Familiarity with data architecture and scalable data processing frameworks.

• Experience in data modeling and database construction.

• Experience with validated systems and the clinical industry (preferred).
