Lead Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation and training of Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to facilitate data-driven marketing strategies.

• Design, construct, and uphold data pipelines for MMM features and scoring methodologies.

• Conduct validation of input and output data to ensure the precision and dependability of models.

• Convert complex model results into straightforward business insights and actionable recommendations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align analytical solutions with business requirements.

• Manage various priorities and deliverables under tight and fluctuating deadlines.

• Maintain high-quality standards in all outputs, with meticulous attention to detail.

• Develop clear and engaging presentations to convey findings and recommendations effectively.

• Manage stakeholder interactions, including setting expectations and navigating challenging discussions.

• Adapt to fast-paced environments with frequent interruptions, urgent requests, and changing priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, and statistical tasks.

• Advanced SQL capabilities for data extraction, manipulation, and validation.

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar).

• Advanced skills in Excel for data management and reporting.

• Background in Marketing Analytics; experience with MMM is highly advantageous.

• Solid understanding of data pipelines, feature engineering, and model validation processes.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex concepts clearly.

• Proven track record of managing stakeholders in high-pressure environments.

• Ability to work independently and sustain high performance under stress.
